Lance Bass reveals that he’s gay
Lance Bass, band member of ‘N Sync, says he’s gay and in a “very stable” relationship with ‘Amazing Race’ winner Reichen Lehmkuhl.
Oh really? I never could imagine that he was gay…. I mean, he looks “so masculine”.
The Book of the Samurai - Yamamoto Tsunetomo
The Book of the Samurai | ISBN 4770029160 | Kodansha International (JPN); Gift Ed edition (November 2002) | PDF + covers | 0.5 Mb | 49 Pages
If one is but secure at the foundation, he will not be pained by departure from minor details or affairs that are contrary to expectation. But in the end, the details of a matter are important. The right and wrong of one’s way of doing things are found in trivial matters
The Book of the Samurai is a compilation of the philosphies of Yamamoto Tsunetomo, a close retainer of Nabeshima Mitsushige, the third ruler of what is now Saga Prefecture.
The book can be very dry, especially if a person is not especially interested in Japanese history or Samurai thought. But if one does enjoy those subjects, Hagakure is interesting not so much for all of its philosophies, which run from the profound to the mundane to the absurd, but rather for the historical context in which it was written. By the time Mitsushige passed away in May 1700, Japan had been at peace for almost exactly 100 years. This left the samurai with the same problem facing our modern military: how do you remain a proud, disciplined warrior in times of extended peace?
“…if you are slain in battle, you should be resolved to have your corpse facing the enemy.”
Hagakure — which can be translated as either “hidden leaves” or “hidden by leaves” — was published on September 10, 1716.
Hagakure was featured prominently in the film Ghost dog (1999) , by Jim Jarmush.

If youve been hiding from love
If youve been hiding from love
I can understand where youre coming from
I can understand where youre coming from
If youve suffered enough
If youve suffered enough
I can understand what youre thinking of
I can see the pain that youre frightened of
And Im only here
To bring you free love
Lets make it clear
That this is free love
No hidden catch
No strings attached
Just free love
No hidden catch
No strings attached
Just free love
Ive been running like you
Ive been running like you
Now you understand why Im running scared
Now you understand why Im running scared
Ive been searching for truth
Ive been searching for truth
And I havent been getting anywhere
No I havent been getting anywhere
And Im only here
To bring you free love
Lets make it clear
That this is free love
No hidden catch
No strings attached
Just free love

Just free love
Hey girl
Youve got to take this moment
Then let it slip away
Let go of complicated feelings
Then theres no price to pay
Weve been running from love
Weve been running from love
And we dont know what were doing here
No we dont know what were doing here
Were only here
Sharing our free love
Lets make it clear
That this is free love
No hidden catch
No strings attached
Just free love
No hidden catch
No strings attached
Just free love

Originality

I am 99 % sure this is the original, I think this was some kind of tribute , but how about this one?
Neneh Cherry - Manchild
OK, you’re on your own, it’s late
Your girlfriend is on another date with the hero in your dream
Turn around, ask yourself. So, you think you’re gonna win this time Manchild?
Is it the pain of the drinking
Or the Sunday sinking feeling
The car never seems to work
When it’s late your girlfriend’s on a date
And the hero with her in your dream
In your sleep it seemed like you
Turn around ask yourself
Turn around ask yourself
Chorus:
Manchild, will you ever win
Manchild, look at the state you’re in
Could you go undercover
And sell your brand new lover (could you)
Be someone else for a night
Maybe someone else will love you
You’d sell your soul for a tacky song
Like the ones you hear on the radio
Turn around ask yourself
Turn around and ask yourself
Chorus:
Manchild, will you ever win
Manchild, look at the state you’re in
Manchild, he will make you cry
Manchild, Manchild, Manchild
From Monday down to Friday
You’re working on another man’s car
Or is it in the factory?
It doesn’t matter where you are
Just turn around and ask yourself is this communication
Accentuate the positive to give some illustration
See Manchild, you’re no one, I turn the microphone on
Control communication when I’m kickin’ it and so on
To the point that I need, the air that I breathe
Into an audience that’s waiting and ecstatic to receive
For the meantime another mean rhyme, I keep on sayin’ it
I know what the time is in the crowd we’ll keep on playing it
Through the speaker boxes loud’s my diagnosis
‘Cause I believe in miracles and words in steady doses.
Enough R-E-S-P-E and C-T
Respect yourself express no stress the mike is easy
Just believe that all you need is the air that you breathe.
(Turn around ask yourself)
Chorus:
Manchild, will you ever win
Manchild, look at the state you’re in
Manchild, he will make you cry
Manchild, Manchild, Manchild
He’s the apple of your eye
Once bitten twice shy, why don’t you bite me again
Just take it in the right and go tell your friend
Are you ready for the words I turn the microphone on
A figure of speech to reach you at the back and so on
The style I’m stimulating dance floors
Raise your body temperature now and
This demands for power in the amp you know loud’s my diagnosis
‘Cause I believe in miracles and words in heavy doses

Always On Our Minds - A Tribute to the Pet Shop Boys
Intuition - Love Comes Quickly
You can live your life lonely
Heavy as stone
Live your life learning
And working alone
Say this is all you want
But I dont believe that its true
cause when you least expect it
Waiting round the corner for you
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
You can live a life of luxury
If thats what you want
Taste forbidden pleasures
Whatever you want
You can fly away to the end of the world
But where does it get you to?
cause just when you least expect it
Just what you least expect
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
I know it sounds ridiculous, but speaking from experience
It may seem romantic, and thats no defense
Love will always get to you
Sooner or later, sooner or later, this happens to everyone
To everyone
You can fly away to the end of the world
But where does it get you?
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
(oooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Foretaste - King’s Cross
The man at the back of the queue was sent
To feel the smack of firm government
Linger by the flyposter, for a fight
It’s the same story every night
I’ve been hurt and we’ve been had
You leave home, and you don’t go back
Someone told me Monday, someone told me Saturday
Wait until tomorrow and there’s still no way
Read it in a book or write it in a letter
Wake up in the morning and there’s still no guarantee
Only last night I found myself lost
By the station called King’s Cross
Dead and wounded on either side
You know it’s only a matter of time
I’ve been good and I’ve been bad
I’ve been guilty of hanging around
Someone told me Monday, someone told me Saturday
Wait until tomorrow and there’s still no way
Read it in a book or write it in a letter
Wake up in the morning and there’s still no guarantee
So I went looking out today
For the one who got away
Murder walking round the block
Ending up in King’s Cross
Good luck, bad luck waiting in a line
It takes more than the matter of time
Someone told me Monday, someone told me Saturday
Wait until tomorrow and there’s still no way
Read it in a book or write it in a letter
Wake up in the morning and there’s still no guarantee
Someone told me Monday, someone told me Saturday
Wait until tomorrow and there’s still no way
Read it in a book or write it in a letter
Wake up in the morning and there’s still no guarantee
And there’s still no guarantee
There is still no guarantee
